Golden Zucchini, Cucurbita pepo, are open pollinated and a Non-GMO heirloom variety. It can be sliced and sauteed with olive oil and preferred seasoning, grated and put into baked goods like breads and muffins. Golden Zucchini can also be breaded and fried and served with marinara. Casseroles are a favorite.
